Counterflow Cooler

The counterflow cooler is used to cool hot feed exiting the pellet mill to ambient temperature. It operates on the principle of fixed air form. Air from the environment comes into contact with the feed in the cooler; as the feed temperature decreases, the hot air is removed from the environment by the aspiration system.
